The City of Asbury Park has announced that its 2018 parking permits are now available.

This year, there will be no rate increases and an online purchase option has been added, Transportation Manager Michael Manzella said. Many of the changes were based on public feedback.

“The Parking Committee continuously evaluates input from residents and employees to try and improve parking availability and regulations across the City,” Manzella said. “The meetings are the first Wednesday of every month, and additional feedback is always welcomed.”

The residential and employee only permits will be available via the utility beginning Dec. 18 and via online purchase on Jan. 1 via thepermitportal.com.

And while you can register, download the needed forms and submit online, the permits will need to be picked up at the Parking Utility Office, located at 1201 Springwood Ave.
