This weekend, area residents can have holiday photos taken at Convention Hall in exchange for gift cards to be donated to Hurricane Sandy relief.

On Sunday, Dec. 9, from noon to 4 p.m., photographers will take holiday pictures of attendees at the Asbury Park landmark. Photos will be exchanged for gift cards of $25 or more. The cards will be donated to Governor Chris Christie’s Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund.

The Asbury Park Boardwalk and lifestyle photographer Sue Barr are hosting the photo sessions jointly. Those interested can make an appointment with Barr at sue@suebarr.com, or just attend on Sunday. Gift cards can be American Express or Visa, or they can be redeemable at local restaurants and retail stores.

Proofs will be processed and emailed on the spot. Holiday cards can be ordered at suebarr.minted.com using the photographs.
