Pride weekend at The Asbury
Entertainment lineup includes Zoe Lewis, guest DJs and movie screenings
The Asbury hotel, the first hotel to open in Asbury Park in over 50 years, will host a lineup of Pride-inspired events this weekend.
Kicking off the festivities is the weekly weekend opener – Friday Night Tea Dance – from 4 to 8 p.m. on the Fifth Avenue hotel’s roof space named for the shuttered Baronet theater.
New York’s DJ Lina will be spinning at Salvation, the hotel’s rooftop lounge, all weekend long. Join her from 10 to 2 a.m. Friday 11 to 2 a.m. Saturday and from 7 to 11 p.m. for a Sunday wind down.
The Asbury’s outdoor Beer Garden will host a Pride Picnic and Pet Drag Show from noon to 6 p.m.
This week’s Baronet Movies kicks off with the 8 p.m. Saturday screening of Frozen and is followed by the Abba inspired Priscilla Queen of the Desert at 8 p.m. Sunday.
Provincetown’s Zoe Lewis performs 9:30 p.m. Saturday in the Soundbooth, The Asbury’s ground floor bar and entertainment venue.
And for those who need that morning energizer, Rooftop Yoga continues 8 a.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday and Sunday in the Baronet.
