The city of Asbury Park Housing Authority Board of Commissioners and their partners will host a community-wide forum on the Boston Way site and Springwood Avenue vision plan next Thurs. Dec. 11 from 6 to 8 p.m., according to a housing authority new release.

The forum will bring together city officials, stakeholders, former Boston Way residents and community representatives to openly discuss the vision plan for the redevelopment of Boston Way and Springwood Avenue.

Approval for demolition of the now-vacant Boston Way Village came through in Sept. 2013. The housing complex is located within the Springwood Avenue Redevelopment Zone.

Members of the public are invited to attend the forum, which will be held in Asbury Park Middle School’s multipurpose room. The middle school is located at 1200 Bangs Ave.
