Sea.Hear.Now Adds Funk, Fusion & Reggae Bands To Lineup
Lettuce, The English Beat & The Original Wailers Join 2-Day Music, Food, Art & Surf Fest
The newest event to join the Asbury Park festival roster has added three new bands that promise to deliver a bit of funk, fusion, and reggae to the two-day music, food, art and surf event taking place Sept 29 to 30 in Asbury Park.
Sea.Hear.Now, the brainchild of renowned music industry photographer Danny Clinch, announced this week that Lettuce, The English Beat and The Original Wailers will join the lineup.
The inaugural event includes performances by Jack Johnson, Incubus, Social Distortion, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, Brandi Carlile, Milky Chance, Blondie, Kaleo, The Front Bottoms, Frank Turner, The Sleeping Souls, and more.
Lettuce is a Boston funk band that brings a new vitality to legendary cuts like Curtis Mayfield’s ‘Move on Up.’
The English Beat, from Birmingham, brings a fusion of Latin, ska, pop, soul, reggae and punk.
And, The Original Wailers features Bob Marley & The Wailers guitarists Al Anderson and Junior Marvin.
The Sea.Hear.Now fest will brings over 25 world renowned and local bands together on three stages at North Beach and in Bradley Park against a backdrop of art, food and surf experiences.
