Shots fired at two locations Monday night
Shootings occurred in northeast, northwest parts of town

Shots were fired at two locations in the city in incidents that occurred less than an hour apart on Monday night, Police Chief Mark Kinmon said.
At 7:21 p.m., shots were fired in the 1700 block of Webb Street on the East Side, between Deal Lake Drive and Eighth Avenue, Kinmon said. A car was struck by the bullets.
At 7:58 p.m., shots were fired in the 1000 block of Fifth Avenue, near Langford Street in the northwest section of the city, Kinmon said. Nothing was struck, but the police confirmed shots were fired.
No arrests have been made on either case, Kinmon said. Detective Javier Campos is handling the case and can be reached at 732-774-1300.
