Soule Monde to launch Anchor’s Bend Jams on the Sand
Free Thursday night concert series runs through summer’s end
A roster packed with national recording artist will headline at the Beach Stage at Anchor’s Bend this summer.
Known for showcasing talents via its select concert and festivals, a collaboration with ElmThree Production brings a little rock, soul, funk, and jazz to the oceanfront venue.
“Each week will bring different genres to the Beach Stage,” said ElmThree Production’s Ed Maier in a written statement. “This year we bring you a Summer Series unlike any other put on at the Jersey Shore.”
Beach Stage launches next Thursday with the untraditional, jazz-rooted, 1950’s sound of Soule Monde, the collaborative by percussionist Russ Lawton and keyboardist Ray Paczkowski. They will be joined by Asbury Park’s own high-energy bluegrass band Dark City Strings.
The free concerts run from 6 to 10 p.m. on the beach north of Convention Hall, located at 1300 Ocean Avenue.

July 21st – Scott Metzger’s WOLF, featuring Billy Hector
July 28th – The Pimps of Joytime
Aug 4th – The Black Lillies
Aug 11th – Marco Benevento
Aug 18th – 4th Annual Half Way 2 Mardi Gras (lineup announcement on June 6th)
Aug 25th – The Hip Abduction
Sept 1st – Sophistafunk | Swift Technique
