BOE vote on superintendent’s contract renewal unclear
Three board members vote yes, three abstain

The board of education [BOE] voted on renewal of superintendent Denise Lowe’s contract last night and after three members voted yes and three abstained, the result is unclear. Board president Gregory Hopson and members Gregory Brewington and Sheila Brazile voted in favor of renewing the five-year contract.
