Tap Into The Asbury Park Beer Festival this January
Tickets go on sale Friday for annual event held at Convention Hall
Beer lovers – the date is set.
The annual Asbury Park Beer Festival will take place at Asbury Park’s Convention Hall on the boardwalk January 30 and 31.
Presented by 95.9 FM WRAT Radio and boardwalk redeveloper Madison Marquette, the event features crafts from across the world as well as ciders and retro beer brands.
The radio station will broadcast live as participants enter beer sports games, like “Masskrugstemmen, the beer-stein-holding contest that challenges one’s endurance [shown above].
This year, part of the proceeds will benefit Clean Ocean Action, the Best Day Foundation and Officer Down, a non-profit organization that raises money throughout the year to assist deceased or permanently disabled law enforcement officers and/or their families.
The weekend lineup includes three session: noon to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to midnight Saturday, and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.
Each session is $37.50 in advance or $45.00 at the door on the day of the event, plus applicable service charges. Designated Driver tickets will be available for $10 on the day of the event only. All participants, including designated drivers must be 21 or older.
