TEDXAsburyPark Returns 9 am Saturday At The Paramount Theatre on the AP Boardwalk
Chaos Themed Schedule Includes Local Voices & Video Tribute To Local Artist Joe Harvard
The countdown is on for TEDxAsburyPark kicking off 9 am Saturday at the legendary Paramount Theatre, located at 1300 Ocean Avenue on the Asbury Park boardwalk.
TEDxAsburyPark discovers and curates more than 25 speakers, entertainers, and artists who share their stories centering around a theme – this year it’s Chaos.
The all-day event inspires attendees to learn and think about the future of their home in New Jersey and will feature the city’s own Jordan Modell, founder of Asbury Park Porchfest, and a tribute to local artist Joe Harvard.
This year’s talks also features a Washington Post journalist speaking on the use of chaos in politics, a prolific patent inventor revealing how he gets to ‘Wow, an advocate for the 40 million people living in slavery conditions today, and from the Grammy Awards – the 40 women strong Resistance Revival Chorus delivers songs of freedom, parity and peace. The roster of 20 performers includes dancers, comics, and ideas on tech, science, education, and a better world.
