An evening of music and fundraising will kick off at 8 p.m. Wednesday at The Asbury in support of Hurricane Harvey victims in Texas.

“We all decided, at Salt Hotels and at The Asbury, that we needed to do anything we could to help Texas and those suffering from Harvey, in any way we could,” Salt Hotel’s Director of Programming Josh Ballard said in a written statement. “Unfortunately, we all know what it is like to go through something like this, and their journey to recovery is only just beginning, despite how hard it has already been for them all.”

Headlining the event are:

8:05 Pam Flores

8:25 Colton Kayser

8:50 Jackson Pines

9:40 Julian Fulton

10:00 MACK

10:20 Joe P Parella

10:40 Roy Orbitron

The Fifth Avenue located hotel also is in the midst of collecting monetary donations as well as clothing and food items.

“We are going to donate the money from both events to the JJ Watt Foundation, and then send the clothing and food items via FedEx or UPS,” Ballard said.  “We are hoping to have a blowout of an evening so as to be able to send a lot of money and needed items down there.”

Suggested donation at the door is $10. The Asbury is located at 210 Fifth Ave. For more info, visit the Facebook event page.
