The Center’s A La Carte Returns To Convention Hall
On the Bill: Over 25 Restaurants, The Marilyns, Dance and Costume Contest
Shake, Rattle and Roll and enjoy the area’s best in culinary offerings during Friday night’s annual A La Carte event by The Center in Asbury Park.
Founded in 1992, The Center is a volunteer-based not-for-profit HIV/AIDS support service organization.
Among their premier fundraising endeavors, the 7 to 9 p.m. event offers foodies an array of choices at the iconic Convention Hall on the Asbury Park boardwalk.
Spotlighted fares from the 25 participating restaurants include:

– Langosta Lounge – Tandoori Chicken Skewers & Tzatziki Sauce
– Asbury Festhalle & Biergarten – Goulash
– Kim Marie’s Eat N Drink Away – Irish Rice Balls & Artichoke Francaise
– Yvonne’s café – Tuna Nachos
– 618 Restaurant – Cajun Shrimp & Grits
– Mogo – Pork, Chicken, Tofu Tacos
– Belmontes – Penne with Vodka Sauce
– Monalyssa – – Chicken Francaise & Scarpello, Penne Primavera
The Marilyns headline, with a dance and costume contest on the bill. A gift auction, 50/50 raffle [now at $1700] and an open bar complete the event highlights.
