Body Cameras, bike/pedestrian planning on the agenda
The Asbury Park City Council is scheduled to meet Wednesday in council chambers at City Hall.
A closed executive session will start at 4:30 p.m., followed by the regular council meeting at 7 p.m.
Public participation takes place at the beginning of the regular meeting.
• The City Council is expected to hold Redevelopment Counsel Interviews during its closed Executive Session. They will discuss contract negotiations for Carter Sackman and iStar agreements.
• The Regular Session meeting includes a grant application for ‘under the body worn’ cameras, parking and sewer credits, an emergency generator replacement at the wastewater treatment plant, and amendments to the North Eats Food Truck Court agreement.
• The governing body will also look to create an 11-member Business Committee and seek participation in the NJ Department of Transportation bicycle/pedestrian planning assistance program.
• Initial votes to create snow and ice removal guidelines and changes to the towing and storage fee rules occur before the final vote on changes to city issued ABC I.D. cards rules.
