The Asbury Park City Council is scheduled to hold a workshop meeting at 6 p.m. Monday in council chambers at City Hall, located at 1 Municipal Plaza.

The public participation session takes place near the end of the meeting, after comments from city officials. Items on the meeting’s agenda include:

• Special event application review for the annual Santa 5K Run, an LIT Encounter event, Prayer Vigil, Back to School Community Celebration, Levitt AMP Asbury Park Music Series, Serve 24, and a Greek Orthodox Holy Cross Day Celebration.

• The City Council will also consider the following three wedding applications: Bove/Gray on Sept. 25, Rainey/Pezzolo on Oct. 8; and Delia/Stelle on Aug. 14.

• And, Director of Planning and Redevelopment Michele Alonso will make a presentation with regard to amendments to the Central Business Development [CBD] Redevelopment Plan.
