Asbury Park’s city council is scheduled to meet in council chambers tomorrow night, with a closed executive session starting at 5 p.m.; a workshop session at 6 p.m.; and a regular meeting at 7 p.m. Items on the agenda include:
• Introduction of the 2013 municipal budget, along with a vote on the proposed budget and amendments to the temporary budget.
• A vote on a resolution regarding coverage of employees’ domestic partners in the city’s health plan.
• A vote on the increase of the municipal CAP index from 2.5 to 3.5 percent.
• A vote on appointments to the Asbury Park Housing Authority.
• A vote on the establishment of a snow trust reserve fund, along with a vote on transferring 2012 appropriation reserves to the snow trust.
• A presentation from Asbury Park Historical Preservation Society member Don Stine during the workshop session.
• Decisions on bids for computer services, firefighter uniforms, vehicle transmissions, vehicle maintenance, vehicle collision and printing services.
• In closed executive session, the council will discuss waterfront surface parking lots; Springwood Avenue redevelopment agreements; the city’s possible acquisition of a property on Bangs Avenue for use as a parking garage; the reappointment of a municipal judge; and the extension of an agreement with the board of education in which the board paid for police officers to patrol school areas.
