Two shootings took place within hours of each other last night, although no one was injured, Police Chief Mark Kinmon said.

The first occurred at 8:15 p.m. when the house at 1038 Munroe Ave. was struck with “several gunshots,” the chief said.

Then, at 11:30 p.m., gunshots were reported when a car was shot in the 400 block of Ridge Avenue, Kinmon said.

The department has not made any arrests yet. Police urge anyone with information to contact the detective bureau at 732-572-5770.
