Due to rough surf, event organizers have decided to reschedule the Family Day on the Beach, which was originally slated for tomorrow at noon.

“Large, choppy waves and rip currents” are expected tomorrow, according to a release from the Jersey Shore Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation, which helps organize the annual event.

Family Day at the Beach will now take place Saturday, July 28, at North Beach. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m.
