Remanded to Monmouth County Jail on active arrest warrants
A 48-year-old Wall woman was remanded to Monmouth County Jail on drug and outstanding warrant charges following a motor vehicle stop along Route 66 Tuesday, Ocean Township Police Department spokesman Det. Lt. Kevin Faller said.
Vicki Blanche was charged with possession of heroin, possession of a prescription drug [without a prescription], operating a motor vehicle while in the possession of drugs, driving with a suspended license, and two active warrants for her arrest.
Blanche was observed committing a motor vehicle violation near 2:29 p.m. Tuesday in the area of the Asbury Park Circle along Route 66, Faller said.
A motor vehicle stop by Ptl. Christopher Clune revealed she had active arrest warrants from Neptune and Neptune City, Faller said. During the booking process Ptl. Karen Noel discovered Blanche was in possession of three bags of heroin and an Oxycodone pill.
Blanche was remanded to Monmouth County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail, set by Judge Timothy McGoughran.
