“Who runs the world?” at Asbury Lanes on March 28
Women's event features local speakers on their inspirational career journeys
In celebration of Women’s History Month, Asbury Lanes will be partnering with Asbury Park Distilling Co. to host Who Runs The World?, an event and fundraiser for and by the women of Asbury Park.
The event will be taking place on Monday, March 28 from 6-10 p.m. During the evening, six women will speak on a panel focused on their inspirational career journeys. Local female business leaders from Asbury Park will be featured on the panel, including:
- Jenn Chavez founder of Babes in Business
- Kelly Lynch – distiller at Asbury Park Distillery
- Perri – Hair Stylist Larry Cadillac
- Morgan Dickerson – Complex Director of F&B for The Asbury Collection
- Tina Kerekes Gallery Manager at Transparent Clinch Gallery
- Nikki Carter – NJ Brand Ambassador for Uncle Nearest
To complement, event goers can also enjoy small bites and drinks from the following vendors:
- Uncle Nearest, a multi-award-winning premium whiskey and bourbon distillery
- Corgi Spirits, a New-Jersey-based, small-batch, craft distillery
- Asbury Park Distilling Co., Asbury Park’s first and only distillery since prohibition
As a give back component, Asbury Lanes and Asbury Park Distilling Co. will be donating all funds raised through voluntary donations during the event to the following organizations:
- Ukraine Crisis Children’s Relief Fund – Save the Children, who are providing essential humanitarian aid to affected children and their families.
- Mary’s Place By the Sea, a respite home for women who have been diagnosed with cancer.
