On Saturday at approximately 7 p.m., a 20 year old male suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound in the area of Emory Street, according to Charles Webster, public information officer at the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s office.

A few hours later, at 1:53 a.m. early Sunday morning there was a report of shots fired in the 600 block of 2nd Avenue. When police arrived on the scene there was no victim found, Webster said.
