Two shooting incidents took place in Asbury Park over the weekend.
On Saturday at approximately 7 p.m., a 20 year old male suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound in the area of Emory Street, according to Charles Webster, public information officer at the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s office.
A few hours later, at 1:53 a.m. early Sunday morning there was a report of shots fired in the 600 block of 2nd Avenue. When police arrived on the scene there was no victim found, Webster said.
There were no arrests made in either matter.
