The City Council meeting scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 25 has been cancelled.
Although the agenda has been set for the Tuesday meeting, that meeting’s close proximity to the next regularly scheduled meeting on Dec. 3 leaves little room for city administration to turn around a new agenda with the Thanksgiving holiday in between, according to City Clerk Steven Kay.
All business scheduled for the Tuesday meeting will be addressed at the Dec. 3 meeting.
Meeting times will remain the same, with a closed executive session at 5 p.m.; a workshop session at 6 p.m.; and a regular meeting at 7 p.m.
Both of the November meetings, which normally occur on the first and third Wednesdays of each month, were rescheduled due to the November general election, City Manager John “Jack” Kelly said.
