The Asbury Park City Council is scheduled to hold a workshop meeting 6 p.m. Monday in Council Chambers at City Hall, located at 1 Municipal Plaza.

A public participation session will take place near the end of the workshop meeting, following comments from city officials. Items on the meeting’s agenda include:

• A special event application for Jersey Shore Rescue Mission’s Annual Coat Give-away and Thanksgiving Meal.

• City Manager Michael Capabianco is expected to discuss workforce development, road improvement project and the transportation trust fund.
