There’s no doubt Asbury Park is a leader in the local public art game. Murals and other outdoor art offerings are seen in various spots around the downtown and oceanfront.

This downtown mural, seen on Bond Street (on the side of the store Etc. and right next door to Bond Street Bar) first appeared well over a year ago and was done by Asbury artist Porkchop. The mural was never finished because it was never approved by the city.

Ocean Grove resident and amateur photographer Robin Del Maccaro captures the unfinished mural in this photo.
