Asbury Park BOE Candidate Petitions Filed
Eight Will Vie For Three open seats in April 25 School Board Election

Eight city residents have filed petitions to run for the three available seats on the Asbury Park Board of Education.
They include incumbents Felicia Simmons, Stephen Williams and Carol Jones. Former board members Christian Hall and James Famularo have thrown their hats in the ring, as well as David Baker, Eric Pinckney and Joe Grillo.
Campaign tickets will be formally solidified next week when ballot positions are determined on March 15.
Voters will cast ballots on April 25 for the three available three-year term board seats as well as approval of the 2017-18 school budget.
