City Council Monday Workshop Meeting Cancelled
Tuesday Election voting hours 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
A reminder, that the City Council regularly scheduled 6 p.m. Monday Workshop Meeting is cancelled.
The cancellation is due to preparation for the Tuesday Election, city officials have said.
A regularly scheduled 5 p.m. Executive Session Meeting will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday. A workshop session will be held at the start of the 7 p.m. Wednesday Regular Meeting.
Voters will cast ballots from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. in Presidential, State, County, and City Council races.
City residents should note that polling locations in some districts have changed. The Monmouth County Board of Elections changed the location for Districts 1 and 9 to the 1143 Asbury Avenue in May in order to accommodate the space needed for voting machines and equipment, city officials said.
The polling locations are:
District 1: Mt Carmel Church Annex, 1143 Asbury Avenue
District 2: Mt Carmel Church Annex, 1143 Asbury Avenue
District 3: Second Baptist Church, 124 Atkins Avenue
District 4: City Council Chambers [Bangs Avenue entrance]
District 5: City Council Chambers [Bangs Avenue entrance]
District 6: Asbury Park High School Media Room [Comstock Street entrance]
District 7: Asbury Park Tower, 1701 Ocean Ave
District 8: Asbury Park High School Media Room [Comstock Street entrance]
District 9: Mt Carmel Church Annex, 1143 Asbury Avenue
