Jersey Central Power and Light [JCP&L] is reporting power outages for 922 customers in Asbury Park, according to its website. Fire chief Kevin Keddy has confirmed JCP&L’s estimate.
“Some of these outages could last from seven to 10 days as a result of anticipated damage from the storm,” the JCP&L site reads. “Crews are assessing the situation and will restore power to all affected areas as quickly and safely as possible.”
1,593 customers are reportedly without power in Neptune; 927 in Ocean; 218 in Interlaken; 193 in Deal and 54 in Allenhurst.
