The Asbury Park City Council Workshop meeting scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday has been canceled.

The cancelation was made in order to the honor the first live music performance at the newly opened Springwood Avenue Park, Mayor John Moor said.

“It’s the first live music we’ve had on the west side in years and I think that is more important,” he said.

The 7 p.m. Regular Session City Council Meeting on Wednesday, June 29, will include a workshop session, City Clerk Cindy Dye said.gedeon Luke
