Three teens were arrested in connection with a stolen car and marijuana possession early Sunday morning, according to an Ocean Township Police Department news release.

A 17-year-old male juvenile was charged with burglary and theft of a motor vehicle, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and being in receipt of stolen property.

Also charged were a 14-year-old male juvenile and Taylor Kelly, 18, of Tinton Falls, for being in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Police responded to the stolen motor vehicle report near 3:39 a.m. Sunday at a Twinbrook Village Apartment Complex home on Apollo Street, according to the officials.

Later that morning, officers observed the stolen vehicle returning to the complex and conducted a motor vehicle stop that ended with the teens being transported to headquarters. All three were processed and released, pending a future court appearance.

Police Officer Brendan Bernhard, Sgt. James Kelesidisn, and Detectives Chris Brady and Greg Martone investigated.
