Office Building Search Leads to Prostitution Arrests
Two Flushing NY Residents Face Charges In Connection To Main St Massage Therapy Business
A joint investigation by federal, county and local law enforcement led to prostitution arrest of two women Wednesday, Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni announced.
Luan Guihua, 49, of Flushing, New York, was charged with the third degree crime of promoting prostitution and Jinzhen Yang, 48, also of Flushing was charged with engaging in prostitution, a disorderly person offense.
The cooperative investigation was conducted by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, Federal Bureau of Investigation and Deal Police Department, who executed a search warrant Wednesday at Massage Therapy, located in the Deal Lake building at 560 Main St in Loch Arbour.
The investigation was initiated after reports were received suggesting the massage parlor was being operated as a house of prostitution, Monmouth Prosecutor’s Office spokesman Charles Webster said.
No arrests were reported for those who frequented the establishment but the women were released on summons, pending a future court. If convicted Yang faces a sentence of not more than 364 days in the Monmouth County Jail and Guihua faces a sentence of three to five years in a New Jersey state prison, officials said.
