Silent auction for Kula Café tonight at 709 Point Beach
Al Holmes and the Tribe change locations for the evening
The second annual silent charity auction for Interfaith Neighbors’ Kula Café takes place this evening from 7 to 11 p.m. at the 709 restaurant in Point Pleasant Beach
Al Holmes and the Tribe will shift their Thursday night “deep blue blues” set, which usually takes place at the Café, over to the Point Beach restaurant for the benefit auction.
Suggested donation for admission is $20 at the door and comes with raffle ticket for several door prizes. Drink specials will be available all evening.
The Kula Café is a restaurant and a job training program located. It provides a sixteen week hospitality-focused training program to students who wish to work in front-of-house positions as servers, bussers, runners, and hosts, within area restaurants. The Café is located in the Springwood Center at 1201 Springwood Ave. in Asbury Park and owned by nonprofit Interfaith Neighbors.
