Asbury Park’s city council is scheduled to meet in council chambers tonight, with a closed executive session starting at 5 p.m.; a workshop session at 6 p.m.; and a regular meeting at 7 p.m. Items on the agenda include:
• Appointments to the Asbury Park Housing Authority.
• Decisions on bids for a new revaluation firm. The city recently sought new bidders for the project.
• A code enforcement report from Code Officer Andre Willis during the 6 p.m. workshop meeting.
• A plan amendment for 208 Bond St., presented by redevelopment director Donald Sammet during the workshop session.
• A Paint the Town Pink presentation from Meridian Health, presented during the workshop session.
• A Sandy recovery donation from Pepsi, presented during the workshop session.
• A beach bathing resolution presented by Garrett Giberson, beach utility manager, during the workshop session.
• In closed executive session at 5 p.m., the council will discuss contract negotiations involving waterfront surface parking lots, redevelopment agreements for Springwood Avenue, acquisition of property on Bangs Avenue currently owned by Magyar Bank, and disposition of the Park Avenue firehouse.
