On agenda: Bond St. liquor license expansion, city manager payout approval
The city council is scheduled to meet tonight in council chambers at City Hall. A closed executive session will start at 5 p.m., followed by a workshop session at 6 p.m. and a regular council meeting at 7 p.m.
Public participation takes place at the beginning of the regular meeting. Agendas for the executive and workshop sessions were not available by the time this article was published. Items on the agenda for the regular meeting include:
• An application to expand the liquor license from Bond Street Bar, located at 208 Bond St., to include 639 Cookman Ave.
• A resolution to approve former City Manager Terence Reidy’s final payout.
• Several special event applications, including an application to extend the liquor license of Johnny Mac’s House of Spirits into the parking lot for events on Nov. 27-20, and Dec. 31., and the authorization for the Premiere Theater Company to conduct a raffle.
• A resolution for the Asbury Park Police Department to accept a $4,400 “Drive Sober” grant.
• Two decisions to go out to competitive bid, one on an RCA project for 709 Third Ave., and one for improvements to be made to the community affairs center.
