Multiple shots were fired in the city Monday night sending two adults and one infant to the hospital, all with non life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Asbury Park police received a call of shots fired in the 700 block of Comstock Street at approximately 7:21 p.m. Monday, according to Capt. Anthony Salerno, public information officer for the Asbury Park Police Department.
About 13 to 15 shots were fired, striking a 19-year-old male, 27-year-old female, and a one-year-old female, Salerno said.
All three were taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center with non life- threatening injuries, he said.
No arrests have been made, according to Charles Webster, spokesman for the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office.
Both Asbury Park police and the prosecutor’s office are investigating the incident.
