A group of about 60 volunteers cleaned the perimeter of Sunset Lake and parts of Deal Lake yesterday, but more are needed today to continue cleaning Deal Lake.

Volunteers are being asked to meet at Deal Lake’s boat ramp, near the 7-Eleven, at 11 a.m. today.

During yesterday’s cleanup, a deep fryer was among the debris found in the lakes [pictured at right].

Boats and heavy load hauling equipment are needed, said organizer Joe Grillo.
