The first council meeting of the new year will start an hour early, city clerk Steve Kay said today.
On Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, the regular city council meeting will begin at 6 p.m., with no workshop meeting. The closed executive session will start at 5 p.m. as usual.
Usually, the workshop session starts at 6 and the regular meeting begins at 7 p.m.
The regular meeting schedule is expected to begin again with the Jan. 16 meeting. Council meetings are scheduled until June 30 of next year. Meetings will be held on Feb. 6 and 20, March 6 and 20, April 3 and 17, May 1 and 15, and June 5 and 19.
